Your tour begins at a central location in Sarasota, near Lido Beach.

After launching the kayaks, your guide provides a lesson on paddling and safety before leading you on a narrated trip around the bay in search of manatees and dolphins, a common sight in these waters. Then head through shady tunnels where you will see more wildlife as you kayak under an amazing canopy formed by mangroves.

The kayaks are easy to manage and very stable, and they feature a hull shape that increases glide and ease of paddling. Life jackets and paddles are provided.

Wild Myakka River Kayak + Bike (8:30 - 4:00pm) Meet your expert kayak guide at 8:30am inside the park at Fisherman's Loop. Here you'll receive instruction on kayaking and safety before paddling out onto the scenic river. Our guide will share stories about the waters and introduce you to their unique habitats and wildlife. After exploring by kayak, you'll head over to the Pink Gator Café for lunch (included). Afterwards, get ready saddle up for a bike-and-hike with park rangers who will take you out on the trails to see how the park protects this fragile and dynamic ecosystem. The bike trail loops around ending at the Myakka State Park Outpost at 4:00pm.                                        

Wild Myakka by Bike (12:30 - 4:00pm) Meet your professional guide at the Myakka State Park Outpost at 12:30pm. After testing out your bike, you'll hit the trails with a Park Ranger and get the chance to learn about Myakka from someone who's dedicated his or her career to protecting it. The tour will return to the Outpost at 4:00pm.         

Park fee of $6 per vehicle collected at the park entrance.

In this small-group tour limited to eight people, set out from Hyatt Regency's boat basin and study examples of living shorelines. With the 4-hour option, make your way under the Ringling Bridge to Bayfront Park and enjoy a healthy snack before kayaking back. Or, upgrade to a 6-hour tour and paddle from the Hyatt Regency boat basin to Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. After pulling onto Selby's private beach, be immersed in a hidden sub-tropical paradise on your expert, guided tour of the gardens. Enjoy a healthy and relaxing lunch under the banyan trees at the historic Selby House Cafe before kayaking back.

Meet your kayak guide in the Hyatt Regency lobby at 9am for a brief introduction. Then, head out to the Hyatt's back dock to launch your kayak and receive instruction on paddling. In your small-group of 8 people, or less, learn about the history of the city and the estuary as you make your way past iconic sites like the Ringling Bridge and Bird Key. Your guide will also show you examples of living shorelines and green roofs when you arrive at Bayfront Park.

On the 4-hour option, have a snack here from Hyatt Regency chefs before paddling back to the Hyatt to arrive at the Hyatt at approximately 12:30pm. With an upgrade to the 6-hour kayak tour, you will land on Selby Garden's private beach just in time for a relaxing lunch at the historic Selby Cafe. Afterward, enjoy a guided, behind-the-scenes garden tour and an opportunity to further explore the gardens before paddling back to the Hyatt to arrive at approximately 3pm.

These tours are best suited for intermediate paddlers ages 8 and up. Single kayaks have a weight limit of 350 pounds. Tandem kayaks have a weight limit of 600 pounds.

Experience and explore backwaters of the Sarasota Bay! Always a short distant and boat ride to great fishing in Sarasota Inlet and Lido Key. Enjoy fishing one of the most popular areas in Sarasota, with a unique ecosystem found right in downtown. Fishing is great all year round, and there is such diversity of areas that even on windy days there are plenty of places to fish. Among the Bay you can fish one of the many barrier islands, and hundreds of miles of backcountry water shoreline, making this a trip to truly enjoy.

The Captain provides fishing instructions and casting lessons which are all included for beginners and advanced techniques for the experts. Tours are suited for both first-timers, experienced anglers, elderly, youth, families and children of all ages and are handicap friendly. So everyone is sure to have a blast as you fish with ease and comfort of the calm backwater never worrying about being seasick.

Fish comfortably in our 22’ boats, accommodates max of 4 people plus the captain, and are equipped with GPS, VHF radio, live-bait tank, livewells to keep your catch.

While out on the water, the boat will have a cooler on board with ice and bottled water to keep you hydrated. There's plenty of space to bring lunch sandwiches or your additional favorite beverage. Alcohol beverages in cans are permitted. Never concern your selves of the worry of restrooms, as there are few along our path.

The trip always includes the use of rods, reels and tackle, bait, lures, and fishing licenses. Legal catch will also be cleaned and packaged for you at the end of the day.
